Minnesota Twins third basemen Josh Donaldson felt the wrath of Chicago White Sox righty Lucas Giolito on Tuesday night after he went on an NSFW rant because Donaldson had some cheeky words after going deep. The Twins slugger said “hands not sticky anymore” when he crossed the plate, referring to the sticky substance that's been banned by the MLB. First, here is Giolito's response:

“He’s a [expletive] pest. That’s kind of a classless move,” Giolito said during his postgame Zoom, per MLB.com. “If you’re going to talk [expletive], talk [expletive] to my face. Don’t go across home plate and do all that, just come to me.”

After hearing Giolito go off post-game, Josh Donaldson had his own response to the Chicago ace. Just check out this thread:

Well, it's safe to say Josh Donaldson and Lucas Giolito do not like each other. We all know that Donaldson is a gritty ball player who isn't scared to speak his mind and that's exactly what he did. Clearly, he got under Giolito's skin in this regard.

The Twins ended up losing the game 7-6, despite the first-inning home run from their veteran infielder. The two teams will face off again on Wednesday night and it will be interesting to see if the Sox respond in any way towards Josh Donaldson in defense of their teammate.
