Two familiar opponents will meet tonight for the right to face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NLDS, as the Colorado Rockies take on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NL Wild Card Game. This will be the 20th meeting of the season between the two NL West foes, with Arizona securing victories in 11 of their previous matchups.

The Diamondbacks boast the second best home record in major league baseball at 52-29, and their starting pitcher, ace Zack Greinke, has a record of 13-1 with a 2.87 ERA in 18 starts at Chase Field this season. Opposing him on the bump is Rockies hard -thrower Jon Gray, who won both of his starts against the D'Backs in Arizona this year.

Both teams field powerful lineups capable of putting up crooked numbers, even against the best of competition. Arizona's Paul Goldschmidt and Colorado's duo of Charlie Blackmon and Nolan Arenado are all receiving consideration for the National League's MVP award.
