The Phoenix Raceway will feature 312 laps and 312 miles on the one-mile dogleg oval. The race will have three stages in laps 75, 190, and 312, respectively.

Joey Logano of Team Penske will seek to defend his crown in the race as he begins on the ninth spot in the grid. His teammate in Brad Keselowski is set to lead the pack as the pole-sitter while Hendrick Motorsports' Kyle Larson and Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin are trailing behind in the second and third spot to start the proceedings.

After encountering several hurdles over the past few months, Larson came back to life on the racetrack as he topped the recently-concluded Pennzoil 400. He will aim to continue his winning momentum and have another go at it with Keselowski who also found himself stepping on the podium in Las Vegas from a week ago.

Exciting action should be expected in Phoenix as NASCAR drivers continue to jockey for position in the ongoing Cup Series as they head to the eighth race of the season.
