The NBA 2K25 Early Access Details have been revealed, and fans of the series have a chance to play the next 2K game early. Everyone on all platforms (excluding the Switch) can begin playing the game two days early this September. NBA 2K25 brings new gameplay changes in the form of a new dribbling engine, offensive and defensive improvements, improved AI, and a new tutorial mode. So, how can you play the NBA 2K25 early tip-off early to experience these new changes and get ahead of the competition?

How to Play NBA 2K25 Early Access – Early Tip-Off Details

Players who pre-order NBA 2K25 on any platform (except Nintendo Switch) before September 6th can begin playin the game two days earlier on September 4th, 2024, at 5am ET/ 2pm PT. If you already pre-ordered 2K25, you already receive this benefit and can begin playing on September 4th. This offer applies to the game's digital version, though participating retailers are offering early tip-off copies as well. Contact your local game store to see if you can get a physical copy on September 4th.

If you pre-order the game on September 5th, then you'll still receive access to Early Tip-off. Furthermore, you'll still receive the pre-order benefits and other bonuses that come with the version you bought.

This also means that NBA 2K25 Season 1 begins on September 4th. Like previous NBA games, each season lets you collect new MyTEAM and MyCAREER content for free every time you level up. Since each season only lasts for a limited time, getting a two-day head start should help players complete NBA 2K25's first season. This should net them a good amount of rewards that should help improve their MyTEAM roster or MyCAREER player.

As we mentioned, The Nintendo Switch version of NBA 2K25 is not available for Early Access. Unfortunately for Switch players, this means you need to wait until September 6th to play it on their Nintendo console. However, PC players will finally be able to enjoy a new-gen experience when NBA 2K25 launches this year. For those who pre-order NBA 2K25, we hope you have fun with the Early tip-off
