LiAngelo Ball recently declared for the NBA Draft. Many critics believe that he'll either end up in the second round or won't get picked at all. His father Lavar Ball, however, believes his son could be a lottery pick.

Per Donatas Urbonas, LaVar is confident that LiAngelo could get drafted in the first round but “they” won't let it happen:

He was probably referring to the critics who have discounted his son's capabilities. While there is no doubt that his other son Lonzo is brimming with potential, critics have panned the other rest of the Ball brothers.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, a general manager shared that LiAngelo was nowhere found in their scouting lists or extended lists:

On the day LiAngelo declared for the draft, he dropped 72 points in a Big Baller Brand Challenge game between Vytautas Prienu and the Guangdong Southern Tigers, a youth team from China. Many believe that it was a set-up. Critics were quick to find out that LiAngelo was playing against kids way below his skill level. In nine games with Vytautas, Ball averaged 15.7 points.

In the event that LiAngelo won't get picked, LaVar previously shared his plans. And it involved Lonzo, who's currently making his name for the Los Angeles Lakers. Last month LaVar said:

“Lonzo will be on his 3rd year and I want let every NBA team know, that Lonzo is not going to resign with the Lakers, but will go to any team, that will take all of my three boys.”
