With the official start of free agency just days away, Golden State Warriors superstar Kevin Durant is certainly one of the biggest names on the market. At this point, some believe the former back-to-back Finals MVP winner has essentially made his decision. However, former second overall pick Jay Williams says “everything is still on the table.”

Speaking on ESPN's “Get Up” program with Jalen Rose and Mike Greenberg, Williams explained why he believes that anything can still happen, as Durant faces one of the biggest decisions of his career to date:

Williams does make a lot of sense here. Despite his recent Achilles injury, which will force him to miss the entirety of next season, he is still considered one of the biggest names in the league today. A lot of teams are more than willing to offer a max deal to the injured superstar, and Williams argues that Durant has got to be seriously considering all the options he has on the table.

The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks are in on Durant, but he could still choose to return to Golden State. The Los Angeles Clippers are also lurking.

For his part, Williams was drafted as the second overall pick by the Chicago Bulls back in 2002. However, after just one season with the team, his career literally came crashing down following a motorcycle accident that would force him to retire at such an early age. The former Duke standout is one of the biggest what-ifs of the NBA, and he knows how tough this situation is for Durant.
