There has absolutely been no shortage of action in Day 1 of free agency. The Los Angeles Clippers have themselves been quite active over the past 24 hours, but it looks like they could be losing one key player in the immediate future.

Sam Amick of The Athletic reports that Reggie Jackson has emerged as a wanted man, with teams such as the New York Knicks, the Boston Celtics, the Denver Nuggets, and the New Orleans Pelicans all showing interest in the 31-year-old combo guard:

As indicated in the above report, the Clippers have every intention of re-signing Jackson to a new deal. The 6-foot-2 guard proved to be a pivotal piece for LA's deep postseason run last term. Jackson pocketed just $1.6 million last season and based on his outstanding play — especially in the playoffs — he's likely looking for a significant pay hike.

For what it's worth, the Clippers have reportedly already renewed the deals of Nicolas Batum (re-signed) and Serge Ibaka (exercised Player Option). Apart from Jackson, however, the biggest question mark for this team is the future of cornerstone superstar Kawhi Leonard who has yet to make a decision on his future with the Clippers.

LA better act fast on Jackson, though, with a handful of teams lurking. The Pelicans, Knicks, Celtics, and Nuggets could all use Jackson's services as a source of firepower off the bench (or maybe even a starter?) and all four teams might be willing to meet his asking price.
