The whole basketball world was once again captivated by Episodes 5 and 6 of ESPN's “The Last Dance.” This included some of the biggest (and not so big) NBA stars, who themselves could not help but take to social media to share their reactions to the latest episodes of the 10-part docu-series.
Episode 5 centered around Michael Jordan's relationship with Kobe Bryant, and as expected, many players reacted to the cameo of the late, great Los Angeles Lakers legend.
KOBE WAS MY MJ🙏🏽😢

We all already knew how great Jordan was as a player in the NBA, but these last two episodes have raised the level of admiration for guys like Jamal Crawford and Kendrick Perkins.
MJ played like he was from the year 3000.

MJ heart don’t pump Blood like a normal person…that MF got Hot Sauce running through this veins!!! He’s a damn SAVAGE on and off the court.

For others, they could not help but notice the fact that Jordan had his own office inside the Bulls locker room. This gave Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell a good laugh.

I just peeped MJ had his own office in the team locker room 😂😂

For San Antonio Spurs swingman DeMar DeRozan, it was all about how “The Last Dance” will have a tremendous impact not only on the game of basketball, but in all of sports as well. Pau Gasol, a former teammate of Bryant with the Lakers, had the same line of thinking — except that his comment focused on how Jordan's Dream Team influenced Gasol's own basketball journey to the NBA.
Sports will be appreciated at a all time high after this & played at a even higher level!

The #DreamTeam inspired and shaped international basketball during the #Barcelona ‘92 #Olympics. I was one of those kids inspired by that team. Thank you 🙏🏼 🏀 #TheLastDance pic.twitter.com/17xgTLh1AR

Finally, Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love had something to say about how the fifth episode ended. This did not only get NBA fans excited for Episode 6, but for the rest of the series as well.
Loved MJ lacing his sneakers to end the ep 5. Don’t know why but it was satisfying 😂🤔

Much like the players, we're all pretty much still in awe with what we just witnessed. The waiting game for next Sunday now begins.
