Two former teammates shared a moment after they faced off against each other on Sunday. Damian Lillard and Meyers Leonard swapped jerseys after Leonard's Miami Heat defeated Lillard's Portland Trailblazers 122-111.

Meyers Leonard and Damian Lillard played together on the Blazers since they were both drafted in the 2012 NBA Draft. After seven seasons as teammates, Meyers was traded to the Heat in July in exchange for Hassan Whiteside.

In 23 minutes, Leonard posted 11 points, nine rebounds, and three assists. For the season, the seven-footer is averaging 5.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 19.3 minutes per game.

For the Blazers, Lillard did everything he could to try and get a win for his team. In 42 minutes, the four-time All-Star posted 34 points, 12 assists and three steals.

The loss moves the Blazers to 15-22 on the season where they sit as the ninth seed in the Western Conference. Injuries have derailed Portland's season so far but the Blazers made the Western Conference Finals last year and were once again expected to be a top competitor in the conference.

Things were seemingly getting better in mid-December when Portland went on a four-game winning streak. Unfortunately, since then, the Blazers have lost six of their last seven games.

On the other hand, the Heat have been surprising for the opposite reason. Without star player Jimmy Butler, Miami was able to secure the win and improve to 26-10 on the season. The Eastern Conference's current third seed have proven themselves as true contenders in the East.

With both Lillard and Leonard entering the league together on the same team, it makes sense the two are friends. Now on different teams, the two will have to battle against each other for the foreseeable future.
