With LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers unable to put up a formidable fight against the newly-crowned NBA Champions Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, Charles Barkley appears to have rubbed some salt into the wound with his recent statement. Of course, it features Michael Jordan.

According to Sir Charles, this recent defeat only solidifies his belief that there should be no question on who the better player is between LeBron James and the great Michael Jordan. The 55-year-old, who he himself has had his fair share of on-court battles with His Airness, categorically stated that Jordan is far and away the better basketball player among the two.

In fact, Charles Barkley will put his money where his mouth is on this one, as he jokingly claimed that he is willing to slap anybody who tells him otherwise.

This is not the first time Barkley has come out with a controversial claim involving a physical threat. The Hall of Fame inductee recently had a highly-publicized spat against Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green when the former stated on live TV that he believed the latter deserved to be punched in the face. Being the fighter that he is, Green did not back down and even challenged Barkley to do it himself. The two eventually kissed and made up.

The GOAT conversation has been running wildly over the past few weeks and after being swept by the Warriors in convincing fashion, LeBron supporters will have to rework their arguments. This recent statement from Barkley will surely further stir the pot.
