Hall of Famer Charles Barkley has not exactly been on point with his playoff predictions this season. This is why the folks at Inside the NBA decided to take a shot at Barkley's poor batting average of late by including his own prediction statistics along with the Fanduel Sportsbook odds for the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets Game 1 matchup.

Here's a screenshot of that savage moment:

According to the graphic above, Charles Barkley has just been accurate on 13.7 percent of his guarantees. That's not just this season, but throughout his entire broadcasting career, so clearly, he hasn't been the most reliable guy in this respect.

For what it's worth, Barkley did make another guarantee recently, predicting how the Lakers are going to plow through the Nuggets to advance to the NBA Finals. This is probably one of the first guarantees he's made this season that makes sense. Earlier, he predicted that the Portland Trail Blazers were going to go all the way to the Finals. He even said that Damian Lillard and company were going to sweep the Lakers following their Game 1 victory in the opening round.

Laker fans aren't exactly happy with Barkley siding with their team. His guarantees have become a bit of a curse of late, and the Purple & Gold faithful aren't exactly confident with Barkley's latest guarantee here. Then again, L.A. is the odds on favorite to come away from the Western Conference Finals, so hopefully, Barkley's prediction doesn't jinx this for them.
