Former Denver Nuggets guard Nick Young is currently under investigation as a suspect in an alleged robbery that took place last week, where the 33-year-old was accused of striking a fan in the testicles and stealing his phone, according to TMZ Sports.

The Los Angeles Police Department received a call on Jan. 4 from a man claiming he was assaulted by the guard when he attempted to take his photo at a popular L.A. car wash.

The fan acknowledged Young did not want his photograph taken, but he snapped one anyway, which led to a confrontation with the fan, allegedly striking him in the nether regions and taking his phone.

According to TMZ, police took the report and are currently investigating the chain of events. So far, no arrests have been made.

Swaggy P has had his share of wrongdoings in the past. Most recently, he was arrested in August 2018 for obstruction of justice after he was pulled over by police.

In 2016, Young was sued for allegedly attacking a man during a pickup basketball game at a nearby church.

Young took to Twitter in the wake of this investigation, saying a brief “wow” after reports of this event went viral:

It didn't take long for the GIFs to start rolling in:

After playing 80 games with the Golden State Warriors last season, Young had a brief cup of tea with the Nuggets, averaging a career-low 2.3 points in four appearances with the team after they lost Gary Harris to injury.

Young cleared waivers and is currently a free agent waiting for his next NBA call.
