Former NBA forward J.J. Hickson is in trouble with the law. According to a report from Bleacher Report's Rob Goldberg, Hickson was arrested and charged with home invasion in the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Deputies who were on-scene noted that at least two people were involved in the home invasion, though only Hickson is facing charges at this time. Investigators said the incident took place around 10:30 a.m. Friday at a home on Rowe Road in Senoia. Authorities also noted that a number of personal items were stolen, and someone was apparently assaulted.

“The victim was beat up pretty good and they took some personal items from the residence, and at that point in time, through the help of a canvass, we were able to identify a suspect and a suspect vehicle. We were able to identify a suspect from that,” Captain John Kennedy of the Coweta County Sheriff's Office told Kerry Charles of Fox 5 Atlanta.

Hickson's charges include armed robbery and home invasion. The 29-year-old is expected to stand before a judge on Saturday.

Officers were quick to point out that this type of incident is rare in Senoia. Investigators with another department in Atlanta apprehended Hickson, then later turned him over to Coweta County.
