The NBA has announced basically all the big awards and has now revealed the players for the All-Defense teams on Monday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday– teammates on the Milwaukee Bucks–round out the group after the other three were named as finalists for the Defensive Player of the Year award.

The NBA also announced the Second Team, which includes a pair of Miami Heat teammates as well as a pair of Philadelphia 76ers.

Rudy Gobert–the Utah Jazz stalwart who won his third DPOY award–headlines the group. The Sixers have three players combined between the two teams, showing the emphasis from head coach Doc Rivers. Matisse Thybulle has become a young stud on Philly's defensive unit, and they have their hands full against Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.

The Eastern Conference has seven of the 10 from the two teams combinedm as Kawhi Leonard, Gobert and Draymond Green– who has become a staple on the list–represented the Western Conference.

The Sixers duo of Embiid and Ben Simmons were passed on for the NBA MVP and DPOY award, respectively. However, the Sixers are still alive in the playoffs, as are the Bucks and the Los Angeles Clippers, so perhaps that helps mend the wounds a little bit.
