During an AMA session on Reddit, NBA champion Horace Grant was asked to compare legends Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant.

Grant played with Jordan and Bryant during his NBA career, winning three championships with MJ on the Chicago Bulls and one with Kobe on the Los Angeles Lakers.

The four-time champion says while he would give a slight edge to Jordan over Kobe, Bryant was “right there” when it came to matching His Airness' work ethic:

“In terms of his work ethic, he was right there with MJ. I have never seen two individuals work as hard in the offseason as they did during the season. They didn’t take a play off in practice, or anything like that. So I would say 1 and 1A, just giving MJ a little edge.”

Kobe Bryant is often regarded as this generation's version of Michael Jordan. The late NBA icon patterned his game after Jordan and it netted him five NBA titles and two Finals MVPs.

Bryant finished his NBA career with averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. His impact on the game of basketball will never be forgotten despite him no longer being with us.

The last two episodes of The Last Dance air on Sunday, May 17th. Jordan has once again been the talk of the sports world since the documentary has reminded everyone just how ruthless a competitor the NBA legend was.

Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 boards, and 5.3 dimes per game throughout his illustrious NBA career. He won six championships, six Finals MVPs, and five regular-season MVP awards.
