Despite clinching their second straight NBA title last night, a considerable sector of the basketball world still could not help but throw some shade in the direction of the Golden State Warriors. The Sacramento Kings were one of them, as they posted a hilarious video on their Instagram account calling out the Warriors on a couple of issues.
The clip role-plays a conversation between the two teams, which is initiated by the Warriors as they triumphantly notify the Kings of their most recent accomplishment. Sacramento then raises some geographical concerns after hinting at how they really felt about the Warriors' “Cinderella story.”

Although the video does poke fun at the newly-crowned Champions, the Kings were not kidding when they said that the future of their franchise is looking bright.
Despite finishing the 2017-18 campaign 12th in the Western Conference with a lowly 27-55 record, things are indeed looking up for Sacramento. The franchise secured the second overall pick in the upcoming draft and regardless if they end up trading the pick or not, they should still be able to add an important piece to their young and promising core. Adding a lottery pick or a proven superstar to the likes of De'Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, and Willie Cauley-Stein will definitely be an exciting prospect for the franchise.
On the other hand, Golden State remains great.
