Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors are among the NBA stars set to donate shoes for the 12th Annual V Week for Cancer Research. Curry is no stranger to donations to battle this cause.

Per Belen Michelis of ESPN Media Zone, basketball stars like Bryant, Curry, DeMarcus Cousins, Joel Embiid, Kyrie Irving, Damian Lillard, Candace Parker, Mike Krzyzewski, among others, will be donating their shoes set to be auctioned off in support of the V Foundation.

This initiative, tagged as Kicks to Beat Cancer (Nov. 26-Dec. 6), is just one among the three initiatives this year to raise funds for the V Foundation. The second initiative is Craig Sager Style Day (Nov. 29-30), wherein NBA on TNT and NBA TV on-air commentators will wear jackets that capture Craig’s style. Both kicks and jackets will be up for bidding at www.ebay.com/espn.

Finally, the WeRateDogs “h*ck cancer” Campaign (Nov. 27-Dec. 8), which aims to support dogs who are battling cancer, will sell custom merchandise with the “h*ck cancer” slogan. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to the V Foundation.

Via a press release, Kevin Martinez, vice president of ESPN Corporate Citizenship, said:

“The 2018 V Week is set up to be our best yet as we impose some serious style into our fundraising efforts — celebrating the legendary panache of the 2016 V Perseverance Award winner Craig Sager and giving sports fans access to some very impressive shoes from the top stars in basketball,” said Kevin Martinez, vice president of ESPN Corporate Citizenship. “We’re excited to once again use ESPN’s reach and resources to bring ever-important funds and awareness for cancer research.”
