Heated Western Conference rivals Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers have made major upgrades on their roster so far in NBA free agency. However, it looks like the two LA-based teams are once again gunning for the same guy, as both are reportedly interested in signing swingman Glenn Robinson III.

Apart from the Lakers and Clippers, strong NBA contenders Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Utah Jazz all have Robinson on their radar, per Michael Sotto of Hoops Hype.

Glenn Robinson III is one of the few remaining impact players left on the market right now who could help bolster one team's wing depth. The 26-year-old high-flyer was pretty much a journeyman for most of his career, but he has made significant strides to his game in the 2019-20 campaign.

The 2017 NBA Slam Dunk Contest champion began last season with the Golden State Warriors, tallying career-highs of 12.9 points in 31.6 minutes per game. He was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers last February, where he normed 7.7 points on 51.8 percent shooting from the field in 14 games.

Although he may not be as accomplished as his old man Glen “Big Dog” Robinson, the 6-foot-6 winger has evolved into a decent 3-and-D option around the league. Robinson's athleticism also translates well on D, as he has become a more reliable defender in recent years. Apart from the Warriors and Sixers, Robinson has also spent time with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons.

Money-wise, the Nets can offer him the most money at around $5.7 million mid-level exception. The Clippers and Jazz can give somewhere around $3.6 million bi-annual exception, while the reigning NBA champions can only give him a veteran's minimum.
