While there are still a few games left before the Larry O'Brien trophy is lifted by either the Los Angeles Lakers or the Miami Heat,  oddsmakers are already starting to predict the outcome of the 2020-21 NBA season.

Per the Ceasars Sportsbook (via SportsCenter), the Lakers and city rivals Los Angeles Clippers are the early favorites to win it all in 2021. The Milwaukee Bucks and Golden State Warriors come in at third and fourth respectively.

The Lakers have had a dominant year so far and are now the favorites to beat the Heat in the 2020 NBA Finals. The Purple and Gold are just two games away from winning it all, and if they do end up getting a ring this year, it's safe to assume that both LeBron James and Anthony Davis will be back to defend their crown next season.

The Clippers, on the other hand, are still legitimate contenders for a 2021 ring, at least on paper. They've sacked long-time coach Doc Rivers and is hoping that a new head can help them erase their forgetful 2020 playoffs run. As of now, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are expected to remain in LA, which still puts the Clips at an advantageous spot heading to next campaign.

Same thing goes for Milwaukee and the reigning back-to-back NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The middle of the list is where it becomes a bit interesting.

The Warriors are ranked fourth after being booted out of playoff contention for the first time in eight seasons. Obviously, the championship trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green being back to tip-top shape increases the chance of the Warriors in bringing the trophy back to the Bay Area.

The new-look Brooklyn Nets are sandwiched between the Boston Celtics and Miami, and it's going to be interesting to see if the tandem of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving works wonders for rookie head coach Steve Nash. The Toronto Raptors, Houston Rockets and Denver Nuggets round out the list.

Surely, we're in for one heck of a 2020-2021 NBA season.
