The NBA has announced the All-Rookie teams ahead of Game 6 between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

The first team includes all three of the Rookie of the Year finalists as well as Detroit Pistons guard Saddiq Bey and Houston Rockets young star Jae'Sean Tate, who defied the odds after going undrafted. Tate appeared in 70 games for the Rockets and averaged 11.3 points per game while shooting 50 percent from the field.

The second team includes a talented bunch, with Immanuel Quickley leading the charge after his successful season with the New York Knicks led them to a playoff run.

Ball won the Rookie of the Year and the Pistons had two players between the pair of teams after their slew of first-round choices in the 2020 NBA Draft.

On the surface, there are no real surprises. Golden State Warriors center and 2nd overall pick James Wiseman was left off, but he played in just 39 games after suffering an injury and struggled to get going out of the gate after his short collegiate career.

Desmond Bane ended up playing a key role for the Memphis Grizzlies after being selected at the end of the first round and played heavy minutes during their trip to the NBA Playoffs before getting ousted in the first round against the Utah Jazz.

The future is bright with the latest group of rookies in the NBA.
