Though most of the basketball-loving public's attention remains fixed on the NBA Finals, in which the Toronto Raptors bested the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 on Friday night, the NBA unveiled a press release that outlined the teams involved and schedule for the NBA Mexico City Games 2019.

The upcoming 2019-20 season marks the fourth straight in which two regular season games will be played in Mexico City, and they will be the 29th and 30th games played in Mexico since the 1992-93 season – the third-highest number for a country to host NBA games behind only the United States and Canada.

The first game will take place on Thursday, December 12th between the Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons. Following that up, the San Antonio Spurs will face off against the Phoenix Suns on Saturday, December 14th.

The games played in Mexico City will be broadcast live on ESPN Deportes, Televisa, and NBA League Pass, reaching fans in more than 200 countries and territories.

Of course, the teams might look very different come December, especially with trade rumors once again swirling around DeMar DeRozan of the Spurs. Beyond that, though, the Mavericks will be led by presumptive Rookie of the Year Luka Doncic, the Pistons will likely retain Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond in the frontcourt, and the Suns will have an intriguing young core led by Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton.
