NBA champion Nick Young wants to play one more season before riding off into the sunset.

Swaggy P took to Twitter on Tuesday to express his desire to play in the NBA again.

Young last played in the NBA during the 2018-19 season. He appeared in four games with the Denver Nuggets and averaged 2.3 points in 9.3 minutes per contest.

The 34-year-old guard was part of the 2017-18 Golden State Warriors team that won it all over the Cleveland Cavaliers in four games. The former USC star put up 7.3 points for the Dubs during the 2017-18 regular season while shooting 37.7 percent from beyond the arc.

Young entered the NBA back in 2007 with the Washington Wizards. Aside from the Nuggets, Warriors and Wizards, he has also played for the Los Angeles Clippers, Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers. Young has career NBA averages of 11.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 720 regular-season games.

The next time we could possibly see Nick Young in the NBA is in 2020-21. However, no one knows when the 2020-21 season is going to start since the 2019-20 campaign still needs to be either finished or canceled altogether.

If he can prove to a team that his head is on a swivel, Young should be able to at least get a workout with a team. His shooting and one-on-one scoring skills could be used by a playoff team that has a vet minimum spot open.
