The New Orleans Pelicans are facing the Utah Jazz in the first NBA seeding game in Orlando. Lonzo Ball and Zion Williamson wasted little time getting back into the swing of things.

Lonzo connected with Zion for a big alley-oop in the second quarter, with Williamson leveraging post position and spinning off to go get the lob at the rim.

Ball and Williamson have established a strong connection ever since Zion returned to the rotation in February.

Lonzo's court vision and Williamson's tremendous size and athleticism have led to a number of highlight-reel plays and lobs this year. That connection seems to be in full swing as the Pelicans fight for a playoff spot in Orlando.

Indeed, Ball and Williamson seem to complement each other perfectly. Both players love to make plays in transition, and Zion is always hunting easy baskets around the rim. Moreover, Zion's ability to draw an extra defender has made things easier for Ball on the perimeter.

Lonzo was really starting to heat up from beyond the arc prior to the suspension of play. He shot over 38 percent from deep in February, and also made 22 of his 43 three-point attempts in March.

The Pelicans will need both of their young stars to perform at a high level as they look to earn a shot at a play-in tournament at the conclusion of seeding games.

Ball sets the tone as the orchestrator, while Williamson has become a reliable scorer alongside Brandon Ingram.

It would not be a surprise to see some more Zo-Zion lobs over the course of the restart, as the Pels are likely to maintain a high pace at the offensive end of the floor.
