NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal and Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green have different opinions on the 2020 MVP winner.

O'Neal expressed his belief that since Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James is the best player in the NBA, he should have won MVP.

On the other hand, while Green acknowledged that James is the top player in the league, he said Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo had a better 2019-20 season than LeBron.

Giannis Antetokounmpo won his second-straight MVP Award. Meanwhile, LeBron James made headlines after the Lakers won Game 1 over the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals when he said he was pissed off by the NBA voting system.

James, a four-time MVP, only got 16 first-place votes.

Everyone knows LeBron is the best player in the league. However, Antetokounmpo was more “valuable” to his team than James. After all, Lakers big man Anthony Davis led L.A. in 13 different statistical categories during the regular season and made the All-NBA First Team alongside James.

If you take Giannis off the Bucks, they wouldn't even come close to being the best team in the NBA. Meanwhile, if you take LeBron off the Lakers, Los Angeles wouldn't register the top record in the West, but would still be really good with Davis leading the way.

James has every right not to be upset since all the greats want to win MVP every single season. Moving forward, look for LeBron to play angry and aggressive for the Lakers.
