The Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Lakers will battle it out in Game 4 of this best-of-seven series. It’s time to continue our NBA odds series and make a Suns-Lakers prediction and pick.

Los Angeles is showing why its seventh seed is a fluke and it is still one of the best teams in the NBA. Phoenix looks like a young and inexperienced team, and Chris Paul's nagging shoulder injury certainly isn't helping the cause. The Suns have their backs against the wall on the road and will need to find a way to salvage Game 4 at Staples Center.

Here’s how sportsbooks have set the Suns-Lakers odds.

NBA Odds: Suns-Lakers Odds

Phoenix Suns +6.5 (-115)

Los Angeles Lakers -6.5 (-105)

Over 209.5 Points (-115)

Under 209.5 Points (-105)

Why The Suns Could Cover The Spread

The Suns have been one of the best teams in the NBA this season. They are elite on both ends of the floor and possess one of the deepest rosters in the league. Phoenix has the ability to drop a ton of points on a nightly basis and need to find a way to get back to that if it wants to stay in this series with the Lakers. Chris Paul needs to find his way again as he fights through his shoulder injury in order for the Suns to play to their full potential.

Los Angeles has been attacking the Suns and getting to the line a ton. The Lakers possess a size advantage, which means that the emphasis should be on limiting paint opportunities in Game 4. Deandre Ayton is the Suns' anchor down low and has been productive with double-doubles in the first three games of this series. Devin Booker has been the best perimeter player on this team and will desperately need to find a way to be more efficient from the floor in Game 4. Booker shot just 6-19 from the floor in Game 3 and got ejected with a frustration foul on Dennis Schroder late in the game. The Suns have to stay composed and grow up quick in this crucial game.

Why The Lakers Could Cover The Spread

The Lakers are now once again looking like the Lakers of old. They have played stellar defense and have gotten back to their scoring ways as they are finally healthy and playing together again. Anthony Davis has returned to form and is dominating, which changes everything for Los Angeles. Davis delivered a huge double-double in Game 3 with 34 points and 11 boards. He got to the line 14 times and sunk 12 of his free throws.

The health of LeBron James is a great thing to see if you're the Lakers as well. James played 38 minutes in Game 3, which shows that the ankle is doing well and he is back to full strength. James will definitely need to limit the turnovers as he turned the rock over seven times in the third game. He still managed to register 21 points, six boards, and nine assists in a solid all-around outing. This team will typically have a different third wheel in every game, and it was Dennis Schroder who was the only other double-figure scorer in Game 3.

Final Suns-Lakers Prediction & Pick

The Suns were the second-best team in the Western Conference for a reason. They are extremely talented on both ends of the floor and possessed the best road record in the league. The Lakers are showing that they are still very much championship contenders and probably the more likely team to make a run in this series, but the Suns are prideful and not willing to give up. I see Monty Williams and Chris Paul finding a way to calm the nerves and rally the squad to an improved performance in Game 4. Los Angeles has turned the ball over a lot in this series. If the Suns find a way to capitalize on those mistakes, they should find a way to steal Game 4 at Staples Center.

FINAL PICK: Phoenix Suns +6.5 (-115)
