The 2017 NBA Rookie class is riddled with one-and-done young athletes ready to dominate the new NBA, and it certainly shows after this hilarious trivia challenge from Complex News.

The media outlet decided to quiz the 2017 draft class on relatively easy trivia questions on NBA history. One would think these athletes live and breath these facts about the organization they worked their entire athletic careers to join. But as it turns out, they are just as clueless and the next casual NBA fan.

Some of the questions were pretty easy, as #1 Markelle Fultz was asked how many teams were currently in the NBA. Maybe it's because I am a sports editor, but the answer 30 immediately came to mind. Meanwhile, Fultz bounced around the 20s and 30s before realizing it was a pretty rounded number.

Other questions were more difficult, as Dennis Smith Jr. was asked which team his current coach Rick Carlisle was drafted too. He admits he did not want to get it wrong, so he decided to take a pass.

Ultimately, it's hard to imagine these young athletes would know every little detail about the NBA, even though they are the league's fresh new faces. They also had to spend hours upon hours in the gym perfecting their craft so they could one day join the names of the players they were guessing in a casual game of trivia.
