VIDEO: Bucks, Celtics follow suit, kneel in unity during national anthem

Bucks, Celtics, NBA

The Milwaukee Bucks and Boston Celtics locked arms on Friday and kneeled during the national anthem before the start of their NBA game.

Every NBA team that has played in Orlando so far has kneeled during the anthem, though Jonathan Isaac chose to stand during the Orlando Magic-Brooklyn Nets game.

This will be a common sight moving forward as the NBA looks to complete its season at Disney World. Since the league is mostly made up of African Americans, players are going to make it a point to speak out about racial injustices while they have this huge platform in Orlando.

Moreover, until the police officers who killed Breonna Taylor aren’t arrested, players are going to continue to pressure the Kentucky Attorney General.
