Veteran NBA players Chris Paul, JaVale McGee and DeAndre Jordan have been given cartoon caricatures in a commercial for a vegan meat company.

The star trio is partnering with Beyond Meat to promote plant-based foods during the holiday season, and the first marquee advertisement is a commercial in which the cartoons sing a modified version of the “12 Days of Christmas.”

McGee apparently produced the track as part of the effort:

“Getting into the holiday spirit, I thought it would be fun to put a twist on a classic Christmas hit featuring some of my favorite Beyond Meat products,” McGee said, via Cameron Alvar of The Beet. “I hope everyone enjoys the new song, in the same way, I enjoyed producing it and is inspired to try more plant-based eats this holiday season.”

The “Point God,” Jordan and McGee only wish they could really sing that well.

All three players are investors in Beyond Meat, as is NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal. Beyond Meat has another affiliation with Paul, according to Alvar:

Earlier this year, Beyond Meat partnered with The Social Change Fund (SCF), a nonprofit founded by Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade, and Carmelo Anthony which seeks to fight systematic racism and support critical and timely issues impacting the Black community.

Whether the humorous commercial results in more of their NBA peers going vegan, the trio of Paul, Jordan and McGee clearly have put a lot of work into their respective partnerships with Beyond Meats.

Now, the NBA stars are trying to bring holiday cheer to households everywhere.
