Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant and Washington Wizards forward Rui Hachimura are two of the brightest young stars the NBA has to offer. As a result, the two young stars were both selected to participate in the Rising Stars Challenge this weekend.

Prior to the showcase, both Hachimura and Morant, along with fellow young stars Josh Okogie and Brandon Clarke, put on a dunking showcase for the Chicago crowd to enjoy.

Rui Hachimura, the Japanese born forward out of Gonzaga, was drafted by Washington with the ninth overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. The 22-year-old rookie is averaging 13.9 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 48.7 percent from the floor but just 23.6 percent from deep.

As for Ja Morant, the No. 2 overall pick is likely the favorite to win Rookie of the Year by the end of the season. At only 20 years old, Morant is putting up 17.6 points, 7.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game while also leading Memphis to a possible playoff spot.
