The Atlanta Hawks aren't having a spectacular season. In fact, the team is statistically as average as it gets. The Hawks just evened out their record with a huge win over the Golden State Warriors. With a record of 37-37, Atlanta is 10th in the Eastern Conference.

Despite the Hawks' mediocre-at-best season, Trae Young is still putting up some of the best numbers in the NBA. Following the Friday night win, Young leads the league in the most points and most assists this season. StatMuse tweeted the outrageous stats Saturday morning.

The point guard had one of his best games of the season in the Friday night win over the Warriors. He recorded 33 points, 15 assists, and four rebounds to lead his team to victory.

Now, Young has 1,913 points and 648 assists in 68 games to lead the league. Not far behind him is Jayson Tatum with 1,889 points and Chris Paul with 632 assists.

The Hawks starter averages 28.2 points and 9.5 assists each game. He led his team to the Eastern Conference Finals last year while averaging 25.3 points and 9.4 assists each game.

Regardless of the two leading stats, Young has been lost within the crowd of outstanding talent throughout the league. He isn't even being discussed as this year's regular-season MVP, largely because the Hawks are struggling so much this season.

Atlanta will attempt to bring its record above .500 when the team takes on the Indiana Pacers Monday night.
