The Cleveland Cavaliers looked poised and ready to advance to their first NBA Playoffs since the departure of LeBron James after controlling the first half against the Atlanta Hawks. But Trae Young had other ideas.
Trae Young scored just six points for the Hawks in the opening half as the Cavs led for all 24 minutes of action. That's when he decided to go supernova on the second half for a historic 32-point display.
After the game, the Hawks superstar was candid on flipping the switch during the break.

“I know the work I put in, the confidence I have. I just got to go out there and show it,” the Hawks star continued.

Trae Young finished the contest with 38 points and nine assists. But raw numbers aside, Young hit big shot after big shot for the Hawks, with some classic Ice Trae antics to go along with them.
The Hawks advance to take on the top-seeded Miami Heat in the first-round. Safe to say they won't be overlooking what Trae Young can do.
