McCollum's post may seem like a bit of a stretch. However, it is certainly possible given how much James has expressed his desire to play with his son. He agreed to a four-year, $154 million deal with the Lakers which would be the duration of his son's career in high school. However, that does not account for the extra year removed needed to be eligible for the NBA.

Of course, plenty will have to go right for the James family in order for this to be a possibility in the first place. The Lakers' star forward would need to remain healthy for the next five years. This should not be an issue considering James' spotless track record with injuries. Second, Bronny will need to show he is talented enough to make it to the league. It goes without saying that he is off to a good start after already showing traces of his father. Finally, it will ultimately come down to whatever team ends up drafting him.

This would undoubtedly make for an interesting offseason if it were to happen. The possibility of getting a James 2-for-1 special would be far too intriguing for teams to pass up.
