Bill Simmons is probably the most well-known Boston Celtics fan in the national media, and he always wears his heart on his sleeve when it comes to his favorite team.

On Wednesday night, the Celtics were in the process of routing the Indiana Pacers when Simmons took to Twitter to say that he was loving what he was seeing from the team over the last few games:

But fear not, Bill: Boston ended up demolishing the Pacers by a score of 135-108, marking the most amount of points they have scored in a single game in the Brad Stevens era. It also came against the second-ranked defense in the league.

Both Marcus Morris and Jaylen Brown scored 22 points apiece, and Jayson Tatum added 20. Overall, seven Celtics players scored in double figures. Boston shot a scintillating 56.8 percent from the floor, making 14 three-pointers and going 21-of-24 from the free-throw line. In addition, the C's out-rebounded the Pacers 48-39 and racked up 32 assists in what may have been their most complete performance of the year.

The Celtics have now won four games in a row, and since starting the season 10-10 they have gone 15-5 to jump out to a 25-15 record. Boston won't get much time to enjoy this win, however, as it will have to head down to South Beach on Thursday night to battle the Miami Heat. That will kick off a short three-game road trip that also features games against the Orlando Magic and the Brooklyn Nets, before a home showdown with the Toronto Raptors on Jan. 16.
