Kyrie Irving led the Boston Celtics to a 99-91 victory against the Indiana Pacers in their first-round series matchup. The All-Star guard scored 37 points, seven assists, and six rebounds in Game 2. They now lead the series 2-0.
Irving was instrumental in helping the Celtics erase a 12-point lead by the Pacers in the fourth quarter. Boston was down 82-70 against Indiana before they mounted a 16-0 run, nine of which, came from Kyrie.
After the game, Irving told Celtics reporter Jay King that it felt good to finally play for Boston in the playoffs.

Irving missed the Celtics' postseason run last year due to injury. The team reached the Eastern Conference Finals and took the Cleveland Cavaliers to seven games, but without an experienced closer, the young Boston team collapsed in the final minutes of that series.
Now, Kyrie is back and healthy; and he wants to help the team reach the Finals this time. The team has enough talent to compete with the best teams in the league, and it seems that they're peaking at the perfect time; the playoffs.
The Celtics will now head to Indiana for games 3 and 4. If they manage to steal one from the Pacers' home court, this series could very well be over.
