All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving is expected to play when the Boston Celtics take on the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday, according to head coach Brad Stevens.
Irving missed the Celtics' previous game against the Sacramento Kings due to a left thigh contusion. It was the second game of a back-to-back for Boston, who defeated the Golden State Warriors the previous night.
Brad Stevens says, as expected, that Kyrie Irving is fine, and that “every indication” is that he’ll play tomorrow.
