Marcus Smart was the only Boston Celtics player to test positive for COVID-19, per Mark Murphy of the Boston Herald.
Smart took to Twitter last week to announce that he tested positive for COVID-19.
The Celtics guard, along with Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant, should be commended for coming forward with their positive tests when they weren't obligated to.
Per source: All remaining coronavirus testing on the Celtics came back negative. Marcus Smart was the only infected player.

The message Smart delivered on Twitter was very powerful. The heart and soul of the Celtics, Smart said the younger generation needs to understand how serious this virus is and social distance themselves:
“But I can't stress enough practicing social distancing and really keeping yourself away from a large group of people and just really washing your hands and help protect yourself,” Marcus Smart said. “And help protect others by protecting yourself.
“The younger generation in our country must self distance. This is not a joke. Not doing so is selfish. Together we can beat this, but we must beat it together by being apart for a short while.”
Before the season got suspended, Smart and the Celtics were in third place in the Eastern Conference standings with a solid record of 43-21.
Smart is averaging 13.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists on the season for the Celtics. He's shooting 38.0 percent from the field, 34.8 percent from beyond the arc and 83.5 percent from the free-throw line.
The NBA isn't sure when basketball will be played again, as more and more people in the NBA are unfortunately testing positive for COVID-19. However, it's good to know that Smart was the only player on the Celtics who got infected.
