As the Boston Celtics made their way to Oklahoma City on Saturday for their game against the Thunder the following night, their chartered plane received a bomb threat while in the air.

Fortunately, the plane landed safely as scheduled and the team were met by authorities at the tarmac and instructed them to leave all their belongings in the aircraft for thorough examination.

The team's starting small forward, Jae Crowder, took to Twitter and shared how he felt about the bomb scare the Celtics went through.

After the investigation, the FBI determined that they “did not locate an explosive device” and the threat appears to be a hoax.

The players and team officials were all transported to their hotel immediately and their belongings were delivered later that night.

Their game on Sunday will push through as scheduled.
