The Celtics were shorthanded — no Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward as they entered a tough campaign. In his first exposure to pressure, Tatum played like a veteran.

Through four regular-season games, Tatum has logged in 17.5 points per game, 9.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and has shot 43 percent from the field. Just like last year, he's back in the Celtics' starting line up.
