During his NBA career, Boston Celtics general manager Danny Ainge developed a strong reputation as being one of the most disliked players around the league.
In light of that, Ainge used one of his most memorable brawls against former Atlanta Hawks big man Tree Rollins to help promote his son, Tanner Ainge, as he campaign for Congress.

The fight between Ainge and Rollins provides a unique segue for him to help bring more attention to his son's political campaign, by using the towering figure that is Rollins as the challenge that Tanner will take on.
This brawl originally took place during a playoff game in 1983 when Rollins elbowed Ainge on the side of his head after he made a thunderous one-handed dunk. It created an immediate reaction from Ainge, who tackled Rollins to the floor and had to be separated by his teammates before things got further out of hand.
As for Tanner, he is currently in the running to replace Republican Jason Chaffetz in Congress. There had previously been some banter between Tanner and his father centered around former Utah Jazz All-Star forward Gordon Hayward, who ultimately decided to sign a four-year, $128 million deal with the Celtics.
