Already scheduled to miss the services of Al Horford for the next two games, another player of the Boston Celtics has gone down due to injury.

During the first half of their game Wednesday night against the Chicago Bulls, forward Jae Crowder landed on the foot of Rajon Rondo and sprained his ankle. He was forced to leave the game and headed straight to the locker room. He did not return to the court.

The Celtics needs to have someone step up if he will be forced to miss games. Jaylen Brown and Gerald Green are both expected to see an uptick in their minutes and will be relied upon heavily to make up for the production Crowder provides.

In three games so far this season, the 6-foot-6 small forward is averaging 14.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game while shooting 53.3 percent from three-point distance. His on-ball defense and ability to defend multiple positions is what makes him most valuable to the Celtics and what they will sorely miss without him.
