Contrary to the rumors involving Kyrie Irving and the New York Knicks, there's is no real indication that the 26-year-old star guard is bound to leave the Boston Celtics next season.
Irving's first season with the Celtics was cut short by an injury. But the NBA got a good glimpse of how effective he can be with his new team. Despite these facts, rumors have been circulating that the 26-year-old guard is eyeing the Knicks.
But according to Mark Stein of the New York Times, there is not much tangible proof of such speculations. Irving, who's rehabbing his knee, hasn't spoken about his long-term intentions just yet.

However, Stein said that while Irving is not looking at the Knicks, two of New York's teams are looking at him:
But there are nonetheless credible rumblings in circulation that the Nets plan to pursue Irving, right alongside the Knicks, should he become a free agent on July 1, 2019
