As expected, Game 7 between the Boston Celtics and Washington Wizards was met with heavy anticipation and the hype machine was in full throttle Monday night.
It’s a fitting closer to the rivalry that these two teams have developed over the course of the season and it definitely got everyone excited. However, NBA on TNT’s Twitter account seemed overly anxious as it accidentally featured a header that had the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Celtics facing each other in the Eastern Conference Finals.
This got plenty of people freaking out and in true Twitter fashion, the good guys over at NBA on TNT got roasted for the blunder.
🤔🤔🤔 @NBAonTNT, you guys trying to tell us something with this header? pic.twitter.com/C53chOTkJ8

For what it’s worth, the error turned out to be prophetic as the Celtics beat the Wizards, 115-105, arranging a date with the Cavaliers in Boston two days from now.
