Just as Twitter had a ruthless reaction to TNT analyst Charles Barkley saying he felt “uncomfortable” with Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas crying on the sidelines next to teammate Avery Bradley prior to the game, there were also others that took his side.
Thomas lost his younger sister Chyna in a one-car crash early Saturday morning, dying at the scene of the accident; Interstate 5 of Federal Way in her native Washington.
The All-Star point guard announced he would play in Game 1 and did so, but Barkley chose the wrong words to express his concern for the Celtics star's mental state prior to the game.
Barkley's lack of eloquence tends to get him in trouble for not choosing the right words to describe situations, but some Twitter users caught wind of his actual concern for Thomas and called out those who tried to make him out to be insensitive in this situation.

Barkley also acknowledged his own loss at the start of the broadcast, saying he had lost two brothers and while he can't exactly know what Thomas is feeling, he can certainly sympathize with the pain he is suffering at the moment.
I mean what he's saying is not bad understand what he's trying to say
