Remember when Mumford & Sons was one of the biggest musical acts in America? Just in you've forgotten, intentionally or otherwise, Saturday's game between the Milwaukee Bucks and Brooklyn Nets served as a reminder of just how relevant the British folk rockers once were.
Late in the second quarter of Sunday's game, which the Nets needed to create some breathing room between they and four other teams fighting for the Eastern Conference's last three playoff spots, confetti began falling from the jumbotron above center court at Fisverv Forum, briefly suspending the action.

You heard that right: Friday night's Mumford & Sons concert was the “most sold out” show that's ever taken place at Fiserv Forum. Just imagine, then, how excited fans of the band were to be transported back to what must have been an absolutely rocking show when confetti began falling from the ceiling. Fun!
Anyway, the game eventually continued, coming down to the final minute as the Bucks and Nets traded basket after basket in crunch time. Brooklyn outlasted Milwaukee in the end, though, winning 133-128, earning a crucial victory in its quest for the franchise's first playoff appearance since 2015. D'Angelo Russell had 25 points and 10 assists on 15 shots for the Nets, while Caris LeVert came up huge off the bench with 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Jared Dudley, playing center down the stretch, was instrumental, too.
Eric Bledsoe had a season-high 33 points and 10 assists for the Bucks, who were playing without Giannis Antetokounmpo, nursing a sore left calf as his team finishes a regular season in which they earned the league's best record.
