The Brooklyn Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers made one of the biggest deals ahead of the 2022 NBA Trade Deadline. Brooklyn traded James Harden and Paul Millsap in exchange for Bens Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond, and two first-round draft picks.

The deal was made Thursday, and both teams held press conferences to formally introduce their new members on Tuesday. During Ben Simmons' media appearance for the Nets, he addressed their upcoming matchup against his former team.

There is no timeline for Simmons' Brooklyn debut, but he is hopeful that he'll be available to face off against the Sixers next month.

Nets reporter Kristian Winfield tweeted the news Tuesday morning.

Immediately following the trade, Sixers and Nets fans checked the schedule to see when their teams would meet next. After the All-Star Break and a few other games, the Nets will travel to Philadelphia for the Thursday night game. The March 10 game is a must watch, especially if Simmons plays.

The new Nets player also addressed his poor performance on the free-throw line during his time in Philadelphia. Simmons said he has spent a lot of time practicing and improving the aspect of his game.

If he suits up for the Nets vs Sixers, it will be the first time Simmons stepped foot on the game day court in Philadelphia since the second round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs against the Atlanta Hawks.
