Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets are now in full postseason mode as they look to secure their final ranking in Sunday's season finale against the Indiana Pacers. The Nets recently released a clip of the squad in practice and intriguingly, it included a couple of appearances from Ben Simmons.

Here's the aforementioned clip which has unsurprisingly gone viral (h/t Brooklyn Nets on Twitter):

The 43-second clip features at least a couple of cameos from Simmons, who has yet to make his Nets debut since making his move from the Philadelphia 76ers earlier this year. It did not look like Simmons took part in the squad's 5-on-5 session, but there's no denying that he now has a bit of spring in his step.

Officially, the Nets have not provided a timetable for the return of the former Rookie of the Year to the court. However, it would not be surprising if Simmons is able to return for the NBA Playoffs. If he does, we shouldn't expect him to make an immediate impact for the Nets given how he has not played with his new team yet. Then again, I could be completely wrong and Simmons could turn out to be the X-factor that takes the team to the next level.
