James Harden wants to get traded to the Philadelphia 76ers, though he just doesn't know how to convey that intention, fearing the backlash he'd get from the public. In any case, it's now common knowledge that his immediate desire is to be ejected from the Brooklyn Nets' roster and get paradropped down to the City of Brotherly Love, where he can team up with arguably the best big man in the game today in Joel Embiid.
While it's also been reported that the Nets and the 76ers haven't been seeing each other eye to eye on the structure of a potential swap involving Harden and Ben Simmons, it's possible that the gears could be in motion for such a trade. If you're sniffing for clues Alex Schiffer of The Athletic, might just have one.
I can confirm James Harden and LaMarcus Aldridge are not in Washington today for tonight's game against the Wizards. The Nets say they stayed back in the city for rehab purposes.

Harden has missed the last three Nets games because of a stubborn hamstring issue. He saw Brooklyn go down again for the ninth game in a row Tuesday night, but as reported by Schiffer, won't be with the team for Thursday's game against the Washington Wizards.
The Nets also have a Saturday schedule to visit the Miami Heat in South Beach, which Harden will also most likely miss, though for what reason exactly we might find out soon, as there is still the possibility that he gets moved before Thursday's NBA trade deadline.
