D’Angelo Russell ushers in a fresh start for the Brooklyn Nets and what better way to arm the team throughout the process by rocking new uniforms specially-designed and engineered by Nike.

The team announced the news via its official Twitter account and the video below perfectly highlights the significant features of the Nets’ latest threads.

The white and black jerseys will no longer be referred to as the home and road uniforms, respectively. Instead, the light unis will now be called the Association edition while the dark one as the Icon edition.

The apparel giant’s patented swoosh is placed on the right side and featured at its opposite is the logo of Infor — the Nets’ jersey ad sponsor.

A simple and conservative approach was performed on these new jerseys, but it already gives off a different vibe when viewed overall. This is certainly a welcome addition to what fans should look forward to when the regular season kicks off, especially with a playoff appearance on the horizon, at least for Jeremy Lin.
