This is what the holidays are all about. Throughout his career, Durant has done a lot of charity work. The two-time Finals MVP isn't expected to play this season for the Nets as he rehabs his Achilles injury, but that's not going to stop Durant from making an impact in the community.
Article Continues BelowWhen Durant makes his Nets debut in 2020-21 (barring a surprise return this season), Brooklyn will be legitimate title contenders. This season, the Nets are still good with Kyrie Irving, Jarrett Allen, Spencer Dinwiddie, Caris LeVert, Joe Harris and DeAndre Jordan leading the way, but they likely won’t compete for a championship until Durant returns.
A 10-time All-Star, Durant has career averages of 27.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 849 games. The former MVP is one of the best scorers of all time and Nets fans can’t wait to see Durant on the floor at the Barclays Center, competing with Irving by his side.
Brooklyn is 15-13 on the season at the moment. The Nets are in the seventh spot in the East.
