Kyrie Irving finally made his season debut with the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, and he made sure to honor the one who made it possible for him to be there: his dad.
While a lot has been said about Kyrie amid his vaccination drama, his father Drederick Irving, has always been there to support him. And so after he marked his NBA return with a rather solid game, he quickly searched for his father and shared a moment with him.
Making things even better? He gave his dad his jersey to commemorate the special event.

Kyrie Irving has a rather tough start in his return, missing his first three attempts before finding the bottom of the net. However, he eventually found his rhythm and powered the Nets to victory, finishing with three rebounds and four assists on top of his 22 points.
The Nets play two games at home next before returning on the road, so it'll be next week until fans see Irving again. Nonetheless, it is certainly great to see him back and Brooklyn back to winning.
